Democracy on Tap

We live in a representative democracy.

Our representatives could, from time to time, ask us whether we prefer them to vote "Aye" or "Nay" or to abstain
on our behalf on bills which are proposing to make or change the laws by which we agree to be governed.

They could work towards making this tool reach a majority of voters in their electoral division.

Then they would be able to vote with the will of the majority of voters in their electoral division

In that way representative democracy could work.

This tool provides a model for how representatives could establish and sustain dialogue with voters.

It could simply be extended to deliver an sms based model requiring a single tap.

To demonstrate the process there are bills from both state and federal parliaments.

Navigate to the "Bills" tab to see the list of bills coming up for debate.

At this time the focus is on the next state election in NSW.

Register with your email address so that you can sustain a dialogue with your representative.

Log in to tell your representative how you would like them to vote on the various bills.
